The Cumberland Valley Preservation Society applied for and received a Pennsylvania Historical Marker to denote the site of the the first recorded communion for the
Covenanter Reformed Presbyterians in North America. A commemoritive token has been struck to denote this event.

The Cumberland Valley Preservation Society has Identified the physical Junkin Tent site.
The "tent" was a grove of trees with rough benches and a stand for the Bible where the
Reverent John Cuthbertson, their first ordained Covenanter Minister, held worship meetings.
