The Junkin House Relocation
- The Junkin House has been moved. The new location will provide more stability for the structure and allow a spacious parking area for visitors. Although the move is complete, the project is still in process with much more to do. The NEW address of the Junkin House is 344 North Locust Point Rd, Mechanicburg, PA. We will continue to update this page as we go. Click on the diagram to see a larger image.
Our Current Status
The move was carried out by Wolfe House and Building Movers of Bernville, PA. This included site preparation for the new footers and foundation of the new site. We are so excited this has finally happened! UPDATE: The foundation has been completed

What is happening now?
The new foundation has been completed providing a solid base for the Junkin House. This will ensure the stability of the Junkin House for generations to come.
